Tequila servings are 1½ oz. and they are served with lime and salt.

Silver or white tequila is the most common type and considered un-aged. It is bottled within sixty days of double distillation. This is the purest form of tequila. These un-aged tequilas will show their fruit, floral and mineral characteristics boldly. They can be sipped or mixed.

Añejo or aged tequilas are aged in government-sealed barrels of no more than 350 liters each for a minimum of one year. Many añejos become quite dark and the influence of the wood is more pronounced than with reposados. The result is a smooth, mellow finish with aromas representative of the type of barrel used. These are true sipping tequilas.
