Mexican Independence Day Specials

Special Dishes & Flights | September 16 - 27| Dine-in Only

Join Oyamel as we celebrate Mexican Independence Day with a special menu of limited-edition antojitos and beverage flights highlighting the country’s rich tradition of agave spirits. Starting on Independence Day, Wednesday, September 16, Head Chef Omar Rodriguez will be serving his unique takes on classic celebratory dishes.

Essential to any Independence Day table, the Chile en Nogada is as delicious as it is beautiful. With it’s green, white, and red colors reflecting the Mexican flag, it’s the perfect plate for the holiday. Chef Rodriguez’s Chile en Nogada begins with a poblano pepper, stuffed with shredded pork, pinuts and apples, and served in a creamy Pipe Dreams farm goat cheese and walnut sauce, topped with fresh pomegranate seeds.

In addition to our special collection of anotjios, the Oyamel beverage team has created three special flights celebrating the agave spirits of Mexico. Dating back to the Aztecs in 200 A.D., the use of agave is a time honored tradition throughout Mexico and one we enjoy today in a range of spirits, from tequila to raicilla. Take your taste buds on a tour of the nation’s unique spirits with our Margarita, Tequila, and Mezcal Flights, each featuring spirits hand selected by our expert team.
